Your bathroom should have everything on-hand that folks need for a normal trip to, well, the bathroom. They should not have to yell through the door for a fresh roll of TP.Be Better Guys: Keep the seat down–for herHand Towels:  When "your friend" washes her hands in your bathroom, you don't want her using your bath towel any more than she wants to use it. Have hand towels. You can get inexpensive sets at a department store. Wash them weekly.

Bath Towels:
Go for thick, 100% cotton towels that absorb water and don't just move it around your body. Wash your towels every week or so.  If not, they will mildew and smell like B.O. You can buy them as a set with the hand towels and hey, they'll match!

Hand Soap:  Guests shouldn't have to reach into your shower to get some soap to wash their hands.  Keep a dispenser of liquid hand soap or a bar of soap on the sink.

Bath Soap:  Keep a fresh bar of soap in the shower and a back-up bar beneath the sink. You're not in college anymore, so you can stop using soap chips.

Tissues:  Keep a box of tissues in the bathroom for nose blowing or when your woman makes you cry.

Toilet Paper:  Keep your bathroom stocked with 2-ply toilet paper, because the only thing worse than using cheap 1-ply toilet paper is using a leaf.  Also, keep a back-up roll in the bathroom for emergencies, and we've all lived through emergencies.

Plunger:  Speaking of emergencies, there's one of two ways to deal with a blocked-up toilet (of course it wasn't your fault…) – close the lid and walk away and hope someone else discovers your, um, deposit, or get a plunger and deal with it. You know the correct answer. Keep it nearby for rapid response.

Trash can:
Buy one with a lid so your used Q-Tips and floss don't spill out onto your bathroom floor. You are flossing, right?

Shower Curtain: Chances are your place didn't come with a shower curtain and even if it did, you don't want to use it. You can get a cloth shower curtain or a plastic one, but if you choose cloth, buy a liner (a plastic sheet) to keep it dry.

Bathmat:  It keeps your floor dry and you from having to mop everyday. Also, it keeps her feet warm on those cold winter mornings.

Containers:  Grab yourself a few inexpensive containers to hold your Q-Tips and cotton balls. A clean juice or rocks glass can work.  But that's not a permanent fix.
