Your world comprises three places: where you work, where you go
outside of work, and where you live. The bus, the train and your car
don't count. Of those, where you live is the one the fewest people see,
yet it may be the most important. It's where your day starts and ends
(unless you're sleeping somewhere) and it's where you bring your
friend(s). Yet so many guys don't give a rat's ass about how their
place looks. But not you, because you know
better. You want to set your place up nicely and keep it clean. You
want to be able to cook something tasty for a date. You want to wow
your guests with your cocktail expertise. So, take one of our recipes,
pair it with one of our classic cocktails, sit down in your clean,
outfitted place with some candles lit and your favorite guest, and let
the games begin.

It may seem silly (and distinctly reminiscent of freshman year) to
create a list of furniture and items you need for your place. Chances
are you have much of this stuff already. What you don’t have, you can
get relatively inexpensively. But whatever you buy, try to get the best
quality stuff you can afford – you may have to live with this for
awhile. |

prepare a meal, it would be nice to have something for your guests to
eat and drink from other than a "Beach Party Weekend at Hooters"
plastic mug and two dining hall plates. |
