Your Place Your world comprises three places: where you work, where you go
outside of work, and where you live. The bus, the train and your car
don't count. Of those, where you live is the one the fewest people see,
yet it may be the most important. It's where your day starts and ends
(unless you're sleeping somewhere) and it's where you bring your
friend(s). Yet so many guys don't give a rat's ass about how their
place looks. But not you, because you know
better. You want to set your place up nicely and keep it clean. You
want to be able to cook something tasty for a date. You want to wow
your guests with your cocktail expertise. So, take one of our recipes,
pair it with one of our classic cocktails, sit down in your clean,
outfitted place with some candles lit and your favorite guest, and let
the games begin.

You just walked into the new apartment, condo, or house. It’s got everything you need: bedroom, bathroom, a living and dining area, kitchen, and a great view of the river (OK, maybe not the view). It may seem silly (and distinctly reminiscent of freshman year) to
create a list of furniture and items you need for your place. Chances

get relatively inexpensively. But whatever you buy, try to get the best
quality stuff you can afford – you may have to live with this for
awhile. |

5 Ways to Be a Better Guy |
- Be a man about it. Ask her out in person or on the phone. Not through email or instant message and don’t have a friend do it.
- Close every job interview by saying this: "So what are the next steps?"
- Keep a box of tissues in the bathroom, if not for you, for her.
- Hair will grow out of your nose. Keep it trimmed.
- Make your own coffee. It's easy and 400% cheaper than grabbing Starbucks.
