As people get older, hair tends to grow at a more advanced rate. The difference between men and women is that women address any hair issues anywhere on their body right away. Most American women shave their legs and armpits, wax their eyebrows, and keep any other hair issues in order (you know exactly what we mean).  Men, however, think it's perfectly fine to let their body hair go completely unchecked, as if trimming it is an affront to their manhood. Take care of it, but don't look like you're a 12-year-old — that's for all you Abercrombie and Fitch model-wannabes.   Make sure nothing gets unruly in these areas:Be Better Guys: You'll surely please her if you make friends with your tweezerNose: Occasionally, nose hairs will make themselves known, either one at a time or in clumps. Purchase either a nose-hair trimmer or a pair of blunt-end scissors. Cut very delicately. Avoid using tweezers or you will cry.

Ear: Random ear hairs, either tufts from the inner ear or single strands sprouting from the outer ear, are as foul as bushy nose hair. Use a nose-hair trimmer or scissors. For the outer ear fellas, tweezers will suffice.

Eyebrows: When we say eyebrows, we mean two. Some guys (and a few women), sport a unibrow. Separate them. Tweezers can work, but for a longer-term solution, waxing — at home or done professionally — is the answer.

Chest: At the office or the club, visible chest hair is plain wrong. The beach?  The pool? Your bedroom? Sure. Anywhere else and you'll look like a mook.  Either wear a t-shirt and keep your shirt buttoned or trim the hair so you're not mistaken for Teen Wolf.

Back: Now, we have plenty of flaws, but the "hair shirt" is fortunately not one of them. From what we've researched, the only answer is waxing, which has to be repeated every 4-6 weeks, if you're serious about smoothness. We suggest professional attention for this matter.

Elsewhere: Unchecked, body hair can get rather thick. On places like your arms and legs, it shouldn't be an issue, unless you run triathalons. But there are other places where, depending on how your garden grows, it can make for a hairy situation (pun intended). This is an individual call. Some like it full. If you prefer a trimmed look, blunt-end scissors should be used delicately. Rinse off in shower.

The Hair that Ruined That Lovin' Feeling

So David's lying in bed with his wife, trying to get in some "quality time," when she screams, "Ack!!! You have a two-inch hair growing out of the top of your ear!!! Get rid of that!!"  Moment killed.
