Be Better Guys: Brian JoynerBrian Joyner, co-creator of Be Better Guys, spent a great deal of time (money and other people’s patience) trying to figure out what he wanted to be when he grew up. Now that he’s arrived (depending on whom you ask), he smiles at how much fun the trip was. He absorbed the lessons he learned from family, friends, and through observations in the service industry and used them to craft his personal take on style and how life is. Throughout it all, Brian figured that regardless of what you do, you should look and act the way you wanted to be perceived. Since he’d already been giving this advice to anyone willing to listen, it seemed natural for him to partner with David Boris to develop Be Better Guys.
Currently, Brian's a writer and historical researcher, and has been an IT tech, an office manager, a bartender, and a singer. He's published books for the National Park Service and fictional short stories through online literary journals. Years ago, he and David played together in a band and David still owes him money for the songs that he "borrowed" later. "Maybe when Be Better Guys takes off, he [David] can pay me the royalties he owes me."

5 Ways to Be a Better Guy
  • The "morning after" breakfast - fresh coffee, some eggs, decent bread, fresh fruit.  And some Al Green.
  • Yes, she’ll catch you staring at her.
  • Take your suit to the cleaners only if you get a serious stain. Instead, clean small stains by hand and hang it outside to air out.
  • Cell phones off every time you step into a meeting, movie theater, or restaurant.
  • All underpants with holes are no longer clothes and are now rags.
